About the Authors

William Swart is a professor of marketing and supply chain management at East Carolina University. He has twice been a finalist in the Franz Edelman competition for the best application of business analytics in the world. He has served as Corporate Vice President for Operations Systems at Burger King Corporation and Provost and Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs at East Carolina University.

Ken MacLeod is an associate professor of management science at East Carolina University. He holds a Ph.D. in management science from the University of South Carolina and M.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. His research has been published in Decision Sciences, European Journal of Operations Research, and Decision Sciences Journal of Innovative Education.
