Some Practical Concepts of Industrial Engineering

The book focuses on a clear presentation of the some important practical concepts of industrial engineering, with particular emphasis on quality and risk models and supply chain models. It provides a description of basic material on modeling of these problems in industrial engineering. It places particular emphasis on contemporary computational ideas, such as applied in queuing theory and integer programming. Throughout, the text concentrates on concepts and mathematical details. All models are well explained and some examples are solved to elaborate the application of models.

Mohammad Saber Fallah Nezhad is Associate Professor at Yazd University, Iran. He received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees, all in Industrial Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. Also he has been a visiting researcher in Karlsruhe University, Germany. He has published more than 60 research papers in scientific journals.
