Octavo, 158 pages, 9 folding plates. Some plates frayed & discoloured where misfolded, head and tail of spine has small tears, but generally good. Paper over the front and rear hinges has cracked but the scrim and hinges are still intact. Uncommon. Three plates are from the Maryport & Carlisle Railway survey. Aimed at civil engineers etc. on railway construction, it is a general guide (though one or two items on C.I. girders seem a bit out of date even for 1888). Seller Inventory # 006950
