Hardcover (blue, gilt lettering) Condition: Good for its age. The covers are solid, but with wear visible on all the edges, especially the crown and foot of the spine. Scuffs. The pages at the top and along the inner seam appear to be wet-stained. A previous owner' name and a price from long ago are written in pencil on the flyleaf. The only other marks I saw were a single pencil line in the margin next to a paragraph on page 461 and some tiny arrows in pencil on page 327. The rest of the pages are clean. The pages are rather stiff. Both hinges (front and back) are split, but not separated from the binding. 474 pages of text, 14 of indices, and 14 of Advertisements. The binding is strong. Packaged using bubble wrap and a sturdy cardboard box. Tracking number provided for no extra cost.
