Practical Ethics In Public Administration

In this ethics text for students taking courses in public administration, Geuras and Garofalo (professors of philosophy and political science, respectively, at Texas State U.) introduce the theory of ethics, describe how it is applied in the context of the public sector, and offer a description of their own model of ethical behavior in public administration and its consequent guidelines. They illustrate the material with hypothetical cases for students to work through. The new edition adds material on addressing public ethical conflict and on leadership development.
