A Practical Guide To National Competition Rules Across Europe (INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION LAW SERIES)

Practicing competition lawyers in all 25 member states of the European Union, plus Switzerland and Norway, survey the state of the field in 2003, on the eve of the devolution of jurisdiction over competition issues from the European Commission to member states in May 2004. Most of them are based in the jurisdiction they are writing about, and so draw on personal experience as well as on more formal sources of information. The comparative study should help educate the legal and business community on the implementations of Community competition law across the different jurisdictions, and encourage the development of a cross-border legal community that might help develop common approaches and solutions to problems posed by a common body of substantive law and commercial practice.
