This book, A Practical Guide to Using UML Tools in System Analysis and Design, avails practical guidance on the construction of object-oriented systems within the context of the Unified Modeling Language (UML). It provides a sound understanding of the tools available in UML that facilitate the process of object-oriented analysis and design. Chapter one introduces the concepts of Object-Oriented System Analysis and Design as well as Unified Modeling Language. The other chapters treat UML diagrams, their various symbols and notations, while illustrating with practical examples how to use these UML tools.
