Throughout his career he worked at hundreds of sites, including Blayney Castle, Wolterton Hall and Scotney Castle.Features enjoyed and employed by Gilpin included amoeba-shaped flower beds, gently curving paths through irregular shrubberies, and raised terrace walks.Rebacked, with endpapers renewed.A beautiful guide to nineteenth century landscape gardening. Rebacked, in the publisher's original cloth binding, retaining the original boards and with original back strip partially laid down. Endpapers renewed. Internally, firmly bound.
