Original blue cloth with gilt lettering on front cover. 4 1/4 X 7 inches. 176 pages. Some black and white illustrations with diagrams. Copy has 1 insert that pulls out. This insert is fully intact. A previous owner wrote his name in black ink on the hinge of pages 73, 173, the title page and the back cover. The front cover reads "Practical Instructions For Using the Steam Engine Indicator, Crosby Steam Gage & Valve Co. Boston, Mass., U.S.A." in gilt. Back cover has several small dimples. Head and tail are slightly bumped. All pages are very clean and complete. Binding is tight.
