Thirteenth edition stated. Includes the folding plate. Half title shows "Mr Hoppus's Measurer Greatly Enlarged and Improved". Subtitled "By a New Set of Tables Which shew at sight The Solid or Superficial Content (and consequently the Value) of any Piece or Quantity of squared or round Timber, be it Standing or Felled, also of Stone, Board, Glass Etc. made Use of in the Erecting or Repairing of any Building Etc". 18th Century owner's name and date inside the front cover. Moderate wear to the contemporary full leather binding and very slight foxing to the contents. Still clean, unmarked and tightly bound.
