A beautiful old book in excellent condition. The cover is in great condition. The binding is sound. All pages edges are stained with a decorative yellow colour. The staining is faded in places and there are some marks on parts of the page edges. There is an ex-libris sticker on the inside of the front cover and a stamp in green ink on the inside of the back cover. There is a small, light pink mark on the inside of the front and back covers. A previous owner has written their name, date and address in black ink and/or pencil on several pages. These are located on several of the title pages and on some pages throughout the book. In some cases this has created shadow marks on the following page. Some pages have some damp-staining or water marks. These do not affect the legibility of the writing or the integrity of the pages. The imperfections listed above are minor, this is a wonderful copy.
