Original Victorian agriculture book "The Practical Poultry Keeper: A Complete and Standard Guide to the Management of Poultry, whether for Domestic Use, the Markets, or Exhibition." The book is overall in very good condition with some just some minor signs of wear and age. It is undated, but circa sometime around the 1880's. The covers only have some light wear with a very slight slant to the spine. The binding is good and sound. There is a small horizonal tear to the front endpapers near the hinge. The interior is foxed and toned from age. A couple of pages or so have a creased corner. Along with that there may be the very occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection such as a minor stain or marking, tiny chip or tear, etc. Generally though, it's a nice copy. The book measures approximately 7 1/2 inches by 5 inches and is 352 pages long with some black and white illustrations. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition.
