1918. New Impression. 637 pages. No dust jacket. Volume I. Blue cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Ex-libris plate stuck to front pastedown. Pages are visibly tanned with small foxing throughout. Heavier tanning and foxing to pastedowns and endpapers. Pencil mark to front free endpaper. Cracking to hinges. Binding is shaky. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners, scratching and rubbing to surface. Two tiny holes to rear board. Notable tanning and small holes to spine with notable crushing to spine ends.
