In good condition, with superficial rubbing and wear to exterior. Hinges remain in good condition and text block remains bound well, save for some looseness around title page and prior to the table of contents. Old-hand inscription adjacent to title page. Nicely illustrated with a variety of black-and-white sketches throughout. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear.
