Item description from seller

Deventer : Kluwer, 2005. Paperback. 117 pp. - This book presents the results of a conference organised by the Dutch Presidency (The Hague 8 and 9 November 2004). It was the aim of The Netherlands (by means of this conference) to find practical solutions for a number of problems which recently arose or may arise in cross border litigation in civil matters. The conference focussed in particular on four items: court languages and languages to be used in forms; service of documents, time limits and computation of time; and problems connected with costs of civil litigation. The reader will find in this book all the speeches of the experts coming from nine different Member States. The speeches are followed by the Closing Statement of Prof. Marcel Storme (Belgium). Finally the editors of this book inserted the Conclusions of the Conference drawn by the Dutch Presidency, after their acceptance by the Committee on Civil Law Matters at its meeting of 14 December 2004, as presented to the responsible authorities in the European Commission. Condition : as new copy. ISBN 9789013028232. Keywords : RECHT, international private law *2006-100 aa ipr.
