He describes the sutrayana and vajrayana paths, outlines the four classes of tantras, compares the Kalachakra generation and completion stage yogas to those of the mainstream tantra,s and details the unique Kalachakra methods for attaining enlightenment in this lifetime. Part Two contains translations for seven texts for the pratice of Kalachakra, including a sadhana selected by the Dalai Lam for this book. Glenn Mullin's perceptive and very readable discussion of the theory and practice of this profound tantric system is an excellen addition to the literature on this subject.

About the Author

Glenn H. Mullin is an internationally renowned Tibetologist, author, and expert on Buddhist meditation. He lived in Dharamsala, India, the home of the Dalai Lama, for many years, where he studied Tibetan language, literature, yoga, and meditation under twenty-five of the greatest masters of Tibet. He is the author of over fifteen books on Buddhist topics and has led many pilgrimages to Nepal and Tibet. He now divides his time between writing, lecturing, giving, workshops, and leading pilgrimages to the power places of Central Asia.

El fondo se increment� notablemente con la compra, en 1995, de la librer�a neoyorquina de Eliseo Torres, de m�s de un mill�n de vol�menes (literatura espa�ola e hispanoamericana, cr�tica literaria, exilio espa�ol, historia, arte, Galicia, etc.). Tras esta compra, y cerrada la tienda sevillana de Mateos Gago, 27, la sede de la librer�a se traslada a su almac�n: una nave industrial de las afueras. Hasta el momento han aparecido m�s de 300 cat�logos tem�ticos y variados, as� como dos cat�logos generales de literatura espa�ola e hispanoamericana, el segundo de ellos de m�s de 13.000 �tems.
