Pragmatism in Financial Inclusion:: Theoretical and Conceptual Foundations of Interest-Free Microfinance within a Conventional Framework

This publication examines the principles and theoretical frameworks of interest-free microfinance within Western contexts without religious affiliations. Employing a pragmatic research methodology, it seeks to tackle the challenges and misconceptions that hinder engagement and knowledge exchange between interest-free and interest-based microfinance systems. The book proposes a novel, all-encompassing theory aimed at guiding research, informing policy discussions, and providing practical insights. Its intended audience encompasses non-Islamic nations, microfinance institutions, investors, policymakers, philanthropists, international organizations, development partners, civil society groups, and academics in the fields of economics, banking, and finance.
