[Prairie Comic] Alberta : Land of Freedom and Opportunity - 1967 Centennial Issue

A promotional piece printed by Calgary Power, featuring "The Man From Alberta" hosting an historical tour through the provinces' many highlights. In comic book format, the booklet has the number "2" and the date "1965" printed at the foot of the front cover verso, a maple leaf device and "1867-1967" printed in the upper left corner, all of which help to identify this as being a copy of the Canadian Centennial issue. The 1965 Diamond Jubilee issue has the Diamond Jubilee device and "1905-1965" printed in the upper left corner of the front cover. Produced by Ganes Productions Limited. Staple-bound illustrated paper wraps, 4to-sized (10 inches tall), pp. 15, illustrated in color throughout. Volume is slightly toned with a .25 inch closed tear to upper edges of text block, else clean and unmarked throughout. An uncommon piece of celebratory Prairie ephemera.
