With illustrations from sketches by the author. Usual ex-library features, some marked through. Front hinge has been glued leaving glue stains on title page and frontispiece. Title page and frontispiece are beginning to come loose. Pages are darkened with age and have a few small edge tears. Fold out map intact. One interior picture page is starting to come loose and one picture page is missing (Sheep Nooning). Cover is scuffed and edge worn. Spine has been repaired.
