A 6 x 10 inch wide, gelatin silver print of 10 steam locomotives performing a load test while under the supervision of a uniformed gentleman in 1939, on Edmonton's iconic High Level Bridge. Photo is captioned on the verso in pen & pencil noting the particulars. One tiny stain at border of right edge, else a fine image. An uncommon image of this important bridge, which linked two separate communities across the North Saskatchewan River when it opened for multiple types of traffic in 1913.
