I Pray (Paperback)

I Pray is a charming read that will inspire and educate children about prayer. Learn from a young boy and his dog just how simple prayer can be. In addition to rhyming words and beautiful illustrations, this book also contains keepsake treasures and interactive elements. The companion coloring book, I Listen, is also available.

Rachel is a wife and mother whose passions are God and family. She combines these loves in her books, offering families practical tools for applying spiritual principles. Rachel's writings include children's books, devotionals, novels, dramas, curriculum, and poetry-all of which have a spiritual slant. When Rachel is not writing, she can be found relishing time with her husband and kids, enjoying church activities, volunteering, or working her "real" job at Volunteers of America. Her past work history includes nine years as a high school teacher and work with both juvenile delinquents and mentally ill adults. She feels blessed to have experienced rewarding work and feels that writing is another way in which she can fulfill her desire to offer inspiration, healing, hope, and education to others. Her latest book, I Pray is written in simple, easy-to read language, which young readers can master on their own. In addition, the book is a great read-aloud for parents or educators hoping to train children in the simplicity of prayer. The coloring book, I Listen, is the perfect accompaniment to the book, I Pray.
