"Simon writes like a trusted friend, relatable and real, who is not simply talking to us but walking with us. Pray, Wait Trust is such a timely book. It brings words of encouragement and hope for those unexpected seasons of uncertainty, and fresh confidence and faith for the journey ahead."

Chris Cartwright, general superintendent, Elim churches

"Nobody is immune from tough seasons in life, but many of us struggle to navigate these challenging times. Simon has written a book that is both biblical and incredibly practical. Personally, his words resonated deeply with me, and I feel this book will become an essential toolkit for many as we travel courageously along the most uncertain paths in life."

Cathy Madavan, speaker, broadcaster and author

"Pray, wait and trust are definitely principles we need to learn to live by as Christians. My good friend Simon has authentically brought these to life through his own story and insights into scripture. I found this book a real encouragement, and I know you will too."

Rev Mark Greenwood, national evangelist and head of evangelism, Elim Churches UK

"Simon’s excellent book is both personal and practical. From his own experience, he provides a guidebook for those who make the discovery that life rarely works out how they had hoped or planned. Simon shows us how to not just survive those seasons of frustration, but to thrive in them, as we intentionally draw close to God and learn to lean on Him."

Rev Duncan Clark, senior minister, Coventry Elim Church

"Simon Lawton's latest book has all the hallmarks that made his previous publications such a help to so many. The author, in a very clear and compelling manner, sets out the scriptural basis for the principles set out in the book's title. What makes this work so compelling, however, is not just the author's powers of description or dexterity in handling scripture; Simon has lived out these principles in recent times and discovered first hand that this ancient revelation is as reliable in twenty-first century life as it was when first given by God."

Rev James Glass, elim regional leader, Scotland and Northwest England

"Pray, Wait, Trust is an honest, accessible, practical and encouraging road map to guide us when life takes an unexpected turn. This book is not theory, but was born out of a time of difficulty in the author’s life. It is packed full of wisdom, honesty & lots of scripture to help the reader cope with life’s curveballs. I wholeheartedly recommend it!”

Rev Steve Ball, elim regional leader, Wales and Southern England
