The Prayer Warriors Handbook: A Practical Guide to Spiritual Warfare, Powerful Prayer, and Walking in Daily Victory

Introduction

The Call to Become a Prayer Warrior

From the opening pages of Genesis to the final chapters of Revelation, the Bible reveals a God who longs to have fellowship with His people. Throughout Scripture, men and women from every generation sought the Lord through prayer. Kings prayed. Prophets prayed. Shepherds prayed. Mothers prayed. Widows prayed. Apostles prayed. Even our Lord Jesus Christ continually withdrew to spend time alone with His Father.

Prayer has always been central to God's plan because prayer is the language of relationship.

It is far more than asking God for help during difficult moments.

Prayer is worship.

Prayer is surrender.

Prayer is dependence.

Prayer is spiritual warfare.

Prayer is thanksgiving.

Prayer is confession.

Prayer is communion with the Creator of the universe.

Most importantly, prayer is an invitation from God Himself.

The Lord lovingly says,

"Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."

— Jeremiah 33:3 (KJV)
