Prayers for the Forgotten Souls in Purgatory

There are forgotten souls in Purgatory: those for whom no one prays anymore, who have been abandoned in the memory of the living, but not in the mercy of God. Prayers for the Forgotten Souls in Purgatory is born from the traditional Catholic devotion which teaches that, just as these souls cannot help themselves, we can assist them with our prayers, Masses, sacrifices, and acts of love.

Inspired by saints such as Saint Nicholas of Tolentino, Saint Gertrude the Great, Saint Catherine of Genoa, and Saint Bridget of Sweden, this book gathers a spirituality deeply rooted in the Church: prayer for the dead, the hope of purification, and the communion of saints. It is also supported by the biblical foundation of 2 Maccabees 12:42-46, where it is presented as a holy and pious thing to pray for the dead so that they may be freed from their sins.

In these pages you will find prayers, a novena, and devotions to pray for the souls in Purgatory, especially for the most forgotten, abandoned, and most in need of mercy. It is an invitation to practice a silent yet powerful work of spiritual charity, offering comfort to those who await the full vision of God and strengthening your own life of faith, hope, and Christian love.
