(No date, ca 1917). 427 pages. 20.5 cm. Pictorial green cloth with gilt lettering to front board and elaborate stamped mountain and forest scene. Frontispiece (color drawing by Clarence Rowe). Pages 427-428 : "Books by Ernest Thompson Seton". Maybe 1st Canadian Edition (cover is the same as the American edition, Doubleday, Page & Company, Garden City, New York, 1917). Light rubbing to boards, spine ends bumped, lettering to spine fading. Neat owner's name on front end-page. Hinge starting. Internally fresh and crisp.
