Berlin: Edition Société, 2015. Stated second printing; numbered 30 of 300. Slim quarto (26x19cm); unpaginated. Publisher’s glossy photographic wrappers; staple-bound. Color photographs throughout. Boards clean with sharp corners. Binding sound. Textblock, endsheets, and interior pages clean. Near Fine. Volume of editorial photographs interspersed with quotes in English by Zenkei Shibayama, Chuang Tzu, and others. Published to accompany the exhibition by the same name at Carl Kostyal Gallery in London. Premier Machinic Funerary Part II is the second installment a series the artist describes as "depicting a form of hyper-commercial ancestral worship." (Don’t ask us what that means.) As of April 2026, we locate two copies in OCLC at MoMA and the Whitney, both described as second printings. However, OCLC notes the presence of a metallic orange envelope with "peace" sticker, which this copy lacks.
