The Preparers is a collection of four individual short stories that together also form one complete narrative. An extraterrestrial race, and a father and daughter tell their stories of life in the twentieth and early twenty-first centuries of Earth. Their paths intersect over subjects as broad as nuclear fission, the internet and a virus pandemic but will natural or unnatural evolution truly bring them together?
