Presidential Pets: A Coloring Book Featuring the Dogs, Cats, and More of the United States White House

Dogs, cats, and birds... ponies, sheep, and - wait! Was that the First Lady leading a raccoon across the White House lawn?

The Presidential Pets coloring book offers a non-partisan look at the leaders and animals who have called the White House home over the years, starting with George Washington's hound dogs to Joe Biden's German shepherds Champ and Major.

Although many presidents have kept dogs as pets, a number have had unusual animals as well - including the snakes belonging to Teddy Roosevelt's children, the cows that grazed on the White House lawn under the Taft administration, and the Monroe family's parrot named Polly who welcomed visitors to the White House's Diplomatic Reception Room. And that racoon? It belonged to Grace Coolidge, who saved it from becoming part of Thanksgiving dinner.

Great for animal lovers of all kinds, Presidential Pets: A Coloring Book Featuring the Dogs, Cats, and More of the United States White House makes a wonderful gift for any occasion.
