Pretzel Board Book [Board book] Rey, Margret and Rey, H. A.

From the creators of the beloved classic picture book Curious George: The story of Pretzel, the world's longest dachshund, is now available as a board book. The inspiration for Pretzel and the Puppies, streaming on Apple TV+

One morning in May five little dachshunds are born. One grows up to be the longest of all! Pretzel easily wins a blue ribbon at the dog show and the admiration of everyone—everyone except Greta, the little dachshund across the street, who doesn't care for long dogs. But Pretzel is able to use his unique gift to win Greta over, and before long they have puppies of their very own.

This story that begins and ends with puppies is perfect for dog lovers, fans of Margret and H. A. Rey’s picture books, and anyone who is a little bit different and special in their own way.

Margret and H. A. Rey created many books during their lives together, including Curious George, one of the most treasured classics of all time, as well as other favorites like Pretzel, Spotty, and Find the Constellations. They had many pets—including two marmoset monkeys that joined them on one of their steamship journeys across the Atlantic. Committed philanthropists in their own lives, a portion of proceeds from each Curious George book sold flows to the Curious George Foundation, which funds programs for children that encourage inquisitiveness in learning and exploring. Curious George has been successfully adapted into a major motion picture and an Emmy-winning television show on PBS and “Pretzel and the Puppies,” based on their picture books, is a streaming series on Apple TV+. www.curiousgeorge.com www.pretzelandthepuppies.com
