Uncommon hardcover edition, 186pp., orginally published as "The Price of Admission" in 1970, winner of the Norman Epstein Award. It appears there is a page missing before the dedication page. There is an exposed edge in the gutter which is glued to the copyright page, could be a production/binding error? The front/rear pastedown endpapers do not extend to the free endpapers - the first page is the title page. DJ has edge/rub wear and tears. Cover design by Hilda Woolnough. Actual book for sale pictured. 15.9 x 23.7 x 2.1cm, wt600g Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
