Item description from seller

Original pamphlet with a modern cardboard wrapper, titles typewritten on front, university emboss stamp on title page, 17 cm, 48 clean pp. "This little tract is not written in the spirit of controversy. It is written in self-defence, against the frequent attacks of Episcopalian ministers, who seek to unsettle Methodists on some of our rural circuits, by representing Methodism as an unauthorized and schismatic organization, without a valid ministry, genuine sacraments, or the characteristics of a true and scriptural branch of the Christina Church." p. 3.
