About the Author
Dr Woon Kin Chung has had vast experience working in the areas of productivity and organisational excellence. His most recent appointments are Chief Executive Officer of the Singapore Productivity Centre and Executive Director of the Productivity Programme Office in SPRING Singapore. Over a span of more than 30 years, Dr Woon led the formulation of national productivity plans, carried out research studies and implemented many productivity initiatives. Significant initiatives include the Integrated Management of Productivity Activities (IMPACT) framework; Business Excellence, Service Excellence and Innovation Excellence programmes; and the national Benchmarking programme. He also produced numerous publications and promotional materials to support Singapore's national productivity drive. Loo Ya Lee started her career as an auditor in Deloitte Singapore, and subsequently held positions in various sectors, including social services, healthcare, enterprise development and the arts. Ms Loo's most recent appointments are Director (Planning and Corporate Development) in the Singapore Productivity Centre and Head (Productivity Programme Office) in SPRING Singapore. In these capacities, she developed many publications and tools, carried out benchmarking studies and undertook applied research on productivity improvement at the enterprise and industry levels.
