The body of the handbook comprises lists of committee members, messages from the president & vice-president, lists of members of conference, information for delegates & visitors and railway timetables & maps, alphabetical list of delegates & representatives with the names & addresses of their hosts & hostesses, order of conference business, notices for various receptions, meetings, rallies and services, preaching appointments, and a section of conference hymns Illustrated with b&w photographs, including views of Jubilee Church, Pittshill Church (Tunstall Circuit) and Clowes Memorial Church (Burslem Circuit), the interior of the conference church Tunstall, a view of Mow Cop, and three views of Trentham Hall and Gardens. Also numerous photographic portraits of committee members, officers, lecturers and preachers. Includes adverts for local tradesmen and merchants. Some of these illustrated, notably with Tunstall Park entrance gates by W. Durose & Sons, Craftsmen in Metals, a view of Alton Towers across the boating lake, and the organ in Primitive Methodist Church, Chapel Street, Bridlington, built by W. H. Laycock & Son, Tunstall, Staffs.
