The Princess and the Dragon

The idealic life of a beautiful young Princess is forever changed by the sudden and dangerous presence of the dragon. The Princess, whose destiny now demands she confront the dragon's threat to her and those in her Kingdom, is joined by many as she courageously battles to keep herself and those dear to her safe.

The manuscript titled "The Princess and the Dragon" was completed in February 2012 as a tribute to my Daughter, Cara Marie Manger, currently age seven, with the goal of capturing her spirit and experiences throughout her twenty-seven months undergoing treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. The writing is also dedicated to all children who wIll or have lived with serious illness and/or disability. As for myself, I am a native New Yorker.
