Princess Ninjas

When the kingdom is under attack who do we turn to? The king and his guards? A knight of myth and legend? Or the prophesized, chosen Princess Ninjas who battle evil and will save the day?

I think we all know who!

Working together to protect their home, adopted sisters Bridget, Megan, and Elyce along with their sidekick Turtle-Bear, will find out that being a ninja isn’t all about sticking to shadows, magic, and cool karate moves. Sometimes it’s about honor, loyalty, and finding out what being a family truly means.

SCHOOL LIBRARY JOURNAL (GOOD COMICS FOR KIDS) -- Silver Dragon Books introduces the new defenders of the kingdom of Chiyome. Bridget, Megan and Elyce are three foster sisters and Princesses in the kingdom of Chiyome. But, in this world where magic, ninjas and evil in all shapes and forms exist, these three princesses become something more to protect the citizens of their realm. They become the Princess Ninjas. With their sidekick Turtle-bear, the trio must work together to do whatever needs to be done to protect their realm from all threats to the peace of the land. They will also learn that being a ninja isn't just sneaking, magic and cool karate-moves. It's also about honor, loyalty, and learning the true meaning of family. This first volume features three stories filled with action, family and friendship, and is from the new all ages imprint of indy publisher Zenoscope Entertainment. It's a series both boys and girls will enjoy.

READITDADDY.COM -- Right from the cover, you know you're in for a real treat thanks to a plot that embraces more than just some chopsocky ninja skills, but delves into what it means to be a friend, and to put others above your own self and needs. Dave's tight plotting cracks along at a blistering pace, and although we'd say this is suitable for a middle grade audience, it has a wider age appeal than that too - fused with a mix of shadowy and dark mystery underpinning the action. Eduardo's artwork is also brilliant, and if you're a fan of stuff like She-Ra or comics like Marvel Rising etc, you're in for a huge treat.
