Princess Yoyo's Rebus Treasury: An Exciting Reading Guide For Little Ones

Book Overview:

A rebus story is told using pictures/drawings in place of words. The pictures can symbolise a word, an action or a character. In a rebus book, complex words have their image added to them, so the child is able to easily decode them and work on the sight words used in-between. Because the Rebus principle focuses on pictographs representing single words, sounds and syllables, it can help children get to grips with specific phonemes they need to know. It can also be used among older children to tap on their decoding skills!

Read along this exciting story book with Princess Yoyo as she depicts her 3 wonderful and colourful short stories with you! When you see a picture in place of a word, say the word in its place to read the story.
