8vo., 12 volumes, original blue publisher's cloth, spines lettered in gilt, design in gilt on front covers. Numerous plates, folding maps, and facsimiles. Published as the first twelve numbers of the "Extra Series" of the Hakluyt Society. Spines are slightly sunned, a couple of bruises to the spine and light wear to the upper front hinge of Volume 2; in general a very clean and attractive set. This Maclehose set is considered the finest modern edition of Hakluyt. This is a heavy multi-volume set which will incur additional postage costs. Seller Inventory # 56995
