hird edition. 8vo. xvi, 365 (3). Contemporary panelled calf, edges specked, a little rubbed, but an attractive binding. Rather rare work on the market from an interesting man: he was friends with John Locke, Thomas Sydenham, and John Tillotson, and close to the Cambridge latitudinarians, becoming eventually Professor of Physic at Gresham College, and a Fellow of the Royal Society.
