Small thick octavo, pp xlvi, 465, age-toned, slightly weak internally, front and rear hinges weak, a corner cut from the front endpaper, with four plain double-page plates with foxing splits and repairs, and now loose, original red blind-stamped cloth extremely marked and bleached, rubbed and worn with tears to the spine at head and tail. With the bookpate of G.B. Fraser , with the Clan Fraser motto "Je suis prest". [A poor copy of a book which is really difficult to find in good condition].
