First British edition. xxviii, 276 pp. Bound in publisher's dark navy cloth with gilt spine lettering. Near Fine, a little wear at extremities, horizontal bubble in cloth of rear board, former owner's name stamped on title page and table of contents. Uncommon in such nice shape.An attractive copy of the German physicist's final work, published posthumously. He died at only 36. The unit of frequency of a cycle per second is named after him.
