About the Author
Dr. Xun Chen is currently a Professor of Manufacturing at Liverpool John Moores University, Liverpool, UK. He is also the Board Chairman of International Committee for Abrasive Technology and the editor in chief of the International Journal of Abrasive Technology. Dr Chen’s research interest focus on the advanced manufacturing technology for functional engineering surface creation, particularly on the application of intelligent sensing for abrasive machining process control and optimisation.
