A classic instruction guide for ladies, published when horseback riding was a new activity for women. Richly illustrated with 23 plates.

Exterior: 3/4 leather with marbled boards. Covers slightly worn. Front cover detached, otherwise binding is solid. Interior: Small bookplate inside front cover. Pages very clean, occasional minor marks. Plates have bled onto opposite pages creating a shadow effect (see photo). Condition: Good to very good.
