Third Edition. 25 x 16 cm. xiv, 406 pages. With 18 plates (including several fold-outs) and text illustrations. Original dark cloth with gilt title on spine. Dark end papers. Good condition. Binding shaky, but holding. Front hinge fully cracked. Rear hinge starting to crack. Binding rubbed and bumped. Spine ends slightly frayed. Edges and end papers age darkened. Ex Library. A few stamps (ink and blind) on title page (crossed out). Several pages with neat pencil underlinings and a few annotations. Otherwise internally bright and clean with interesting fold out maps. Sprache: english.
