Two volumes, slightly smaller but thick, heavy books, black cloth, light blue and very bright gilt lettering very fine at spine tops. Volume I: Modern Cosmeticology. Leonard Hills Books, 1962: London, edited by J.B. Wilkinson, 683 lightly browned pages, charts and illustrations throughout, some in color. DJ light brown background but faded, tiny tear and nick to most edges. Fair DJ/Very Fine book. Volume II: Cosmetic Materials: Their Origin, Characteristics, Uses and Dermatological Action, revised by William W. Myddleton, 803 lightly browned pages, illustrations throughout. DJ light green background but lightly browned and very slightly soiled. Near Good DJs/Very Fine set overall.
