Oversized hardcover. Bound of dark gray cloth over boards with gold lettering on spine. Covers are partially faded with light spotting and staining. Cloth is worn along bottom edges and outer corners. Rubbing at crown and foot of spine with cloth fraying or partially torn. Small tear along top rear corner of spine. Binding is partially cracked along inside spine gutters on front and rear endpapers. Binding is loosened but still intact. Pages are uniformly toned with minimal wear to edges, some spotting, lightly annotated. Printed in B&W. 695 pages with 32-page publisher's catalog at rear. "A New and Revised American from the Eighth Enlarged and Improved London Edition. With Four Hundred and Thirty-Two Illustrations." Title page dated 1867. Copyright page dated 1860. A readable copy in fair condition. Please email with questions or to request photos.
