A very good copy of the 2nd edition of this seminal work on early Radar in a slightly battered dust jacket. Dust Jacket: blue and white paper with Radar Target design in white and white lettering to front and spine, and blue lettering on a white ground to rear; reasonably clean and bright for a paper cover of this age but with some discolouration to folds; some rubbing and loss to all edges; multiple tears, repaired and reinforced on inside, some long time ago; not price clipped (now protected). Cover: navy blue cloth covered boards with silver lettering to spine; in very good condition for its age, very clean and bright; only the slightest signs of shelf wear. Internally: very clean and tightly bound; small very discreet book plate from previous owner to front paste-down and very neat signature from an earlier owner to front fly leaf, no other markings or inscriptions; page edges slightly darkened; presents as typewritten document with hand drawn diagrams but definitely in commercial publication. 12 Chapters, each by different authors and each section separately paginated.
