Wrappers. The two lectures from this little book are; "The Influence of Printing 1450-1650" by Archer Taylor; and "Printing and the Democratic Movement in the Western World" by Gustave O. Arlt. Both men were professors of German in the University system. The lectures were given in October, 1940, in honor of the 500th anniversary of the beginnings of printing in the Western World.
