Sold as a nice reading copy only. Octavo, 9 1/2" tall, xvi + 358 pages, white quarter-cloth; b&w photographs. A very good, clean, neat hard cover first edition overall with minor shelf wear, hinges and binding tight, paper cream white, but light foxing to the fore-edges and color fading (sunning) to the cover margins. In a very good minus dust jacket, moderately worn, but color faded, and with original price present.

We are not flippers selling books by the pound. Instead, we try to limit our stock to books in a condition we'd be proud to place on our personal bookshelves. Books are something to be cherished, so that's what we do. After years of running our bookstore on Newbury Street in Boston's Back Bay, our store has moved.
