Typed manuscript, 1806-1816, by EC Packe (1877-?), later published by various editors. E.C. Packe served in the First World War.

Half leather binding with gilt titles and gilt lined spine compartments, cloth covered boards, top page edges blue, others tanned, plain end papers.

Produced and edited by Lt. Col. E.C. Packe with his signature to the front end paper, with a hand-written title and half title, and a typed manuscript to the remaining pages, and a hand written genealogical table in a pocket at the rear.

Published latterly, and edited by Gareth Glover, this is an original copy of the typed letters.
Pagination: [x], 256, [7]pp.

Provenance: with an inscription by E.C. Packe to the front end paper.
