REDEMPTION IS EXPENSIVE.No one understands this, better than Nicolai Warren. His entire life has felt like a perpetual mistake. He’s never been one to get himself in trouble but, that doesn’t mean trouble hasn’t found him. The last good thing in his life, a woman named Nikki Sagiri, left him six months ago. Nikki meanwhile, has done her best to forget about Nicolai. What happened between them all those months ago changed her. She’s worked hard to become the person she is now and she won’t let the reappearance of Nicolai or anyone else change that.Too bad the universe, isn’t going to make it easy for any of them. An earthquake, pining best friends, mental illness plus, an old acquaintance, who makes worse company than a gnat. It looks like the both of them, are going to have to put survival, over reconciliation.
